PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-repellent and oil-repellent member which is excellent in durability and productivity and excellent in water repellency and oil repellency.SOLUTION: A water-repellent and oil-repellent member has a fine structure having a fine recess group arranged so that a plurality of fine recesses are separated from each other on at least one surface, and includes a fine uneven layer formed of a cured product of a resin composition and a water-repellent and oil-repellent layer provided on a surface in a side having the fine structure. A distance P between the adjacent fine recesses is 500 nm or less. The water-repellent and oil-repellent layer is a vapor deposition film which has an uneven shape following the fine structure thereon, contains a perfluoroalkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms in at least one terminal end, contains no oxygen atom, and uses a fluorine compound having 10 or less carbon atoms as a vapor deposition source.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
