A backlight module (100) and a display. The backlight module (100) comprises an optical film (10), a light guide plate (30), a reflection piece (50) and a first adhesive tape (60). The optical film (10) is arranged in the light guide plate (30). An open groove (31) is formed in the edge of the lower surface of the light guide plate (30). The open groove (31) is used for accommodating the first adhesive tape (60). The peripheral edge of the reflection piece (50) is adhered to the side of the light guide plate (30) opposite to the optical film (10) by means of the first adhesive tape (60). The reflection piece (50) is fixed to the light guide plate (30) by means of the first adhesive tape (60). By means of the backlight module (100), the optical film (10) and the reflection piece (50) are fixed in the absence of a plastic frame, and therefore parts such as a back plate and a plastic frame are omitted, the overall thickness of the backlight module (100) can be reduced, and the narrow frame design is achieved. In addition, the backlight module (100) is simple in structure, and therefore the manufacturing cost is reduced, and the assembly process of the whole backlight module (100) is more convenient and rapid. |
