PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video processing device which does not prepare a device added an input terminal and does not require a high processing ability even when a number of video signals inputted as a system is increased.SOLUTION: An STB1A, an STB1B, an STB1C, and an STB1D transmit and receive information on resolution corresponding to a display device 20 by previously transmitting and receiving EDID information, and transmit and receive information on a number of connected equipment and a kind of them based on "bender definition command". Any one of STB (for example, STB1D) becomes a master equipment, and it determines resolution of a video signal to be composed by the STB and a position to be composed, and transmits and receives to/from the STB as control information. Thus, the STB composes the video signal of content reproduced by an own device to a predetermined position of the inputted video signal and in a predetermined resolution, and outputs to a subsequent step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
