The present invention relates to a DC voltage switch (1) for a high voltage electrical system which has an improved switch off behavior. The DC voltage switch (1) for a high voltage electrical system comprises: a housing (2); at least two fixed contacts (4); and a movable contact (6). First contact regions (4a) of the respective fixed contacts (4) extend from the housing (2) to the outside, and second contact regions (4b) of the respective fixed contacts (4) and the movable contact (6) are arranged in a switching chamber (10) of the housing (2). The housing (2) is sealed to take on a capsule form. A cooling chamber (11) is arranged on and separated from the switching chamber (10) by a separation wall (9). The separation wall (9) is provided with at least one discharge hole (12) and an intake hole (13). |
