PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably perform output control of simulated sound while considering possibility of existence of an object to be informed in surroundings to change in accordance with a road type on which a vehicle travels.SOLUTION: A determination unit 740A acquires road information in a storage unit 710 on the basis of a current position of a vehicle CR detected by a position detecting unit 720 and specifies presence or absence of an opposite traffic lane of a road on which the vehicle CR travels. Then, the determination unit 740A determines a reaching range of simulated sound to be output toward the outside of the vehicle on the basis of the specified result on presence or absence of the opposite traffic lane. Continuously, a control unit 750 controls an output amount of the simulated sound to be output from a speaker of a simulated sound generating unit 760A on the basis of the determined reaching range. Consequently, the simulated sound having the controlled amount is output toward the outside of the vehicle from the speaker of the simulated sound generating unit 760A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
