PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-up display capable of uniformly distributing light in an eyebox while keeping the size compact.SOLUTION: A light source 11 emits illumination light 100, and a lens array 13 splits the light emitted by the light source 11 to generate multiple images of the light source 11. Focusing means comprising a curved reflector 14 and a field lens 15 focuses the illumination light 100 emitted by the images of the light source 11 to an area corresponding to a display area of a display element 20, the curved reflector 14 having a free-form surface shape that is symmetrical in a plane defined by an incident optical axis A1 of the illumination light 100 from the lens array 13 and an output optical axis A2 of the illumination light 100 toward the field lens 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
