PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy absorption member having high energy absorption efficiency and capable of adjusting degree of energy absorption.SOLUTION: An energy absorption member 11A formed into a cylindrical shape and absorbing impact energy applied to an axial direction of a cylindrical center shaft 14 by buckling is formed in a state where a plurality of swollen parts 15 is adjacent or close to a plate-like member.
