1) A non-transitory tangible machine readable medium comprising instructions configured to cause at least one processor on at least one infrastructure management device to perform a process comprising:
a) monitoring at least one IT device from among a multitude of IT devices communicatively connected over a network; b) determining, from the monitoring, at least one IT device state for at least one of the at least one IT device; and c) performing at least one action from a multitude of possible actions on at least one IT device, determined at least in part, by at least one IT device state; and wherein at least one of the multitude of possible actions configured to modify the interconnection of the multitude of IT devices communicatively connected over the network.
