[Also in Group XXVIII] An oscillating cylinder pump 10 (see Group XXVIII) is rotatably mounted on a plinth by studs 13 and retained thereagainst by a spring finger, in a slot, which engages a groove 14 in the stud 13. The cylinder head 26 is provided with a boss 27 and holes 28 which engage pins 29 on the cylinder. The opposite end of the cylinder is closed by a similar plate 30 through which the piston rod passes. The head 26 and plate 30 are retained by a U-shaped clip 34 which engages the plate 30 and is drawn tight by a screw 35 which engages the head 26. |
