PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid wasteful power consumption to implement cooling operation depending on necessity.SOLUTION: An uninterruptible power supply 10 accommodated in a frame comprises: a converter 14 for converting AC power to DC power; a storage battery 16 for storing part of DC power output by the converter 14; an inverter 15 for converting DC power output by the converter 14 or the storage battery 16 to AC power; a forced air cooling fan 22 for cooling the inside of the frame; temperature sensors 20, 21 for detecting temperatures of the converter 14 and inverter 15; and a variable speed drive circuit 18 for controlling a cooling load by using the forced air cooling fan 22, on the basis of a result of the detection.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
