PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric vehicle which enables a proper amount of a liquid refrigerant to be stored in a battery case and inhibits deterioration of the travel efficiency with a simple structure.SOLUTION: An electric vehicle 10A includes a battery 26 having battery cells 64, which are cooled by a first refrigerant r1, an insulative liquid refrigerant, directly contacting therewith, and a battery case 74, in which the battery cells 64 are stored and the first refrigerant r1 is circulated, the battery 26 configured to supply electric power to an electric motor 27.
