PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring device and a measuring method, capable of separately performing data storage and signal output to an external device according to the magnitude of lightning.SOLUTION: A measuring device 100 comprises: a first determination unit 115a which determines whether a first condition related to the lightning current measured by a sensor 10 is established; a second determination unit 115d which determines whether a second condition related to the lightning current is established; and a control unit 115e which stores data related to the lightning current in a storage unit 114 when the first determination unit 115a determines that the first conditions is established, and outputs a signal to an external device 200 when the second determination unit 115d determines that the second condition is established.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
