PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker securing airtight sealing property, and allowing smoothly inserting a lid packing into the upper end opening part of a pot when closing a lid body, in the rice cooker using the pot having a flange part.SOLUTION: A rice cooker 1 includes: a bottomed cylindrical pot 3 having an upper end opening part 7 and an annular flange part 4 provided on a peripheral wall part 3C below the upper end opening part; a rice cooker body 10 having a flange support part 50A suspending the flange part on the upper part; a lid body 20 covering the upper part of the pot and arranged in the rice cooker body in an openable/closable manner; and a lid packing 33 attached to the lid body so as to face the upper end opening part of the pot. The peripheral wall part 3C at least near the upper end opening part in the pot is extended nearly vertically, and the pot includes a lid packing introduction part 6 constituted so as to be expanded in diameter to the upper end opening part at a side of a pot inner peripheral surface near the upper end opening part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
