The present disclosure relates to a method and device for accessing a wireless network. The method comprises: after a first terminal accesses a target wireless network, finding a target terminal which is to access the target wireless network; generating a multicast address according to access information about the target wireless network; and sending a multicast packet to the multicast address, wherein the multicast packet is a multicast packet which characterizes the access information, is received by the target terminal and is used for accessing the target wireless network. By means of the embodiments of the present disclosure, since a target terminal can access a target wireless network in the case where a first terminal is not disconnected from the target wireless network, compared with the need for access switching in the related art, the access control process can be simplified, thereby improving the efficiency of the target terminal accessing the target wireless network. |
