<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball valve with a flow rate measurement function arranging a ball valve body near an upstream side in a specific surface interval to allow upstream and downstream fluid pressures to be extracted in a stable state and capable of accurately measuring a flow rate with a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: In this ball valve with the flow rate measurement function, a ball valve body 6 is rotatably provided in the inside of a valve box near an upstream side via a valve shaft. The valve box includes a predetermined surface interval and is provided with flanges 1, 3 at both ends. Pressure sensors 10, 11 measuring upstream and downstream fluid pressures are fixed to upper outer edge surfaces of the flanges, respectively. Pressure extraction communication passages are bored along the thicknesses of the flanges, respectively. The flow rate of a ball valve fluid is calculated by using a valve capacity coefficient obtained on the basis of a valve opening amount and a differential pressure signal of the upstream and downstream fluid pressures by measuring the upstream and downstream fluid pressures introduced from the communication passages 12, 13 by the pressure sensors, and the control to a proper fluid flow rate is performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
