<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording apparatus that can adjust the impact position of ink by a recording head with a high degree of accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: When it is determined that a discharge failure nozzle, filling a first predetermined condition exists by a first determination means, based on a discharge state detection pattern recorded by the discharge state detection pattern recording means, an image of an impact position adjustment pattern by an impact position adjustment pattern recording means is recorded by the recording means using the nozzle other than the discharge failure nozzles among a plurality of nozzles. Therefore, when a discharge defective nozzle filling the first predetermined condition exists, an appropriate impact position adjustment pattern can be recorded, since the impact position adjustment pattern is recorded by the ink discharged from nozzles other than the nozzle that is in a discharge failure state, and an appropriate adjustment information can be obtained, and the impact position of the ink can be regulated at a high degree of accuracy. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
