Described is a device (4) for connecting a target object (1) to a towing vehicle (3) in order to test the function of a surroundings-detecting driver assistance system of a test vehicle for carrying out road tests, particularly road tests involving near-collisions and collisions between the test vehicle and the target object (1). Said device comprises at least two deformable hoses (5) which are connected to one another transversely to the longitudinal direction (7) by means of at least one connecting element (8), wherein the hoses can be connected at their ends (6) to the towing vehicle (3) and the target object (1) via suitable means and are used substantially to transmit acceleration forces from the towing vehicle (3) to the target object (1), and the inner volumes of the hoses (5) can be hydraulically or pneumatically pressurized. The spacing between the hoses in the transverse direction (B0≠BY) is different along the length of the hoses in the longitudinal direction, in particular preferably at least one of the connecting elements (8.Y) is provided with a greater width of the spacing of the hose guides so that a defined position of the nominal deformation of the hoses occurs in the event of the test vehicle striking the target object. A suitable connecting element is also described. |
