The present invention relates to an apparatus for seed screening and hot-water sterilization, capable of reducing the time for screening and sterilizing seeds and requiring no labor for transferring the seeds from a seed screen to a hot-water sterilizer, thereby improving the working efficiency, by continuously supplying an appropriate amount of seed grains screened by the seed screen to the hot-water sterilizer to sterilize the seed grains. According to the present invention, the apparatus for seed screening and hot-water sterilization comprises: a seed screen (100) for screening grains to be used as seeds; and a hot-water sterilizer (200) for performing hot-water sterilization on the grains screened by the seed screen, wherein the apparatus further comprises a transfer unit (300) and a controller (400). The transfer unit (300) supplies the seed grains, which are screened by the seed screen (100) and discharged through a discharge port (35), to the hot-water sterilizer (200). The hot-water sterilizer (200) includes: a seed input case (210); and a sensor (211) for sensing the upper limit and the lower limit of the amount of seeds put in the seed input case. The controller (400) stops the operations of the seed screen (100) and the transfer unit (300) if the sensor (211) senses the upper limit of the amount of seeds, and again operates the seed screen (100) and the transfer unit (300), of which the operations have been stopped, if the sensor (211) senses the lower limit of the amount of seeds. |
