<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter capable of preventing occurrences of display unevenness and bright point defect resulting from vibration, impact or the like during transportation of a liquid crystal display apparatus, for example. <P>SOLUTION: A color filter 1 comprises: a transparent substrate 2; a light shield part 3 formed on one face of the transparent substrate 2, in a predetermined pattern with an opening made in it; color parts 4 of a plurality of colors provided on the opening; a columnar lamination part 5 in which color layers, which are formed of corresponding materials composing the color parts 4 of two or more colors among the plurality of colors, are formed one on the other in a columnar shape on the light shield part 3; a transparent protective layer 6 formed of a transparent resin covering the color parts 4 and the columnar lamination parts 5; and an orientation film 7 for covering the transparent protective layer 6. Load is applied to the top of a cylindrical projection 8, which is composed of the columnar lamination part 5, the transparent protective layer 6 covering the periphery thereof, and the orientation film 7, in a direction perpendicular to the transparent substrate 2 up to 200 mN for 9 seconds. When this state is held for five seconds, the displacement magnitude at a position of the top in the direction perpendicular to the transparent substrate 2 before and after the load is applied is 0.45 μm or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
