A step structure is provided in a door opening (2) of a vehicle. The step structure comprises a step (10), a lower roller stay (12) for a slide door for opening and closing the door opening (2), and a side member (5). The step (10) is resin-molded and has a flat plate shape. The side member (5) supports the floor of the vehicle. The step (10) is disposed between the lower roller stay (12) and the side member (5) and provided with a grid-shaped reinforcing rib (11) on one surface or both surfaces. The lower roller stay (12) has a step displacement restraining part (12a). The step displacement restraining part (12a) is configured such that when the lower roller stay (12) is brought into contact with an end (10b) of the step (10) by a side collision load at the time of a vehicle side collision, the end (10b) of the step (10) is fitted therein to thereby restrain the step (10) from being displaced in a plate thickness direction. |
