Apparatus for clearing debris from a gutter comprising pipe 2 extending along a portion the gutter 5, the pipe having air apertures, and means for driving air into pipe. The gutter may also include leaf guard 1 having drainage apertures (1c only shown in Fig. 1). Air may be driven through hoses 8 into pipe 2 for blowing leaves from the gutter 5, or where fitted leaf guard 1. Clips 3 may connect pipe to leaf guard via barbed fasteners (3b, Fig. 3) into apertures 1c. The pipe may have magnetic pipes stops 4 sealing the pipe ends having an airline hole and rubber layer (4a,b, Fig. 7). The pipe may include a metallic/magnetic projectile or shuttle (7 Fig. 6) with o-rings and rubber layers (7a,b, Fig. 6). The air driving means may comprise a compressor and operating unit (11, 10 Fig. 5) for alternating air flow into each hose 8 forcing projectile up and down pipe increased maximum air pressure at the apertures. The pipe may also be elliptical for creating a vortex with a single aperture/slot (91, Fig. 9). The air driving means may alternatively be pump (200, Fig 10) installed in the roof soffit (201, Fig. 10). |
