PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation operation device capable of compatibly maintaining strength of a jog dial against a repetitive load and giving an excellent feeling of operation on the jog dial without causing trouble with rotation detection of the jog dial.SOLUTION: A rotation operation device includes a jog dial 2, a support base 4 supporting the jog dial 2 rotatably, a reinforcing plate 6 provided on a reverse surface side of the jog dial 2 and reinforce the jog dial 2, a detection disk 7 provided to the reinforcing plate 6 and having a detected region 61a at an outer peripheral edge, and a detection part 8 facing the detected region 61a of the detection disk 7 and detecting the jog dial 2 rotating through the detection disk 7. |
