PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamping device for injection molding machines which prevents the collapsing of a reinforcement plate by supporting the reinforcement plate with a removable support block attached to the reinforcement plate and allows easy detachment of the reinforcement plate from the clamping device by removal of the support block.SOLUTION: A clamping device for injection molding machines comprises: a slide plate 9 which is fixed to a movable platen 3 and supports the movable platen 3 in a movable way on a base frame 1; a movable side reinforcement plate 11 which is attached to the movable platen 3 in a removable way and is for attaching a movable side mold 8; and a support block 10 which is supported by the slide plate 9 and arranged in a removable way on the movable side reinforcement plate 11. The molds (7, 8) are opened and closed by a fixed platen 2 and the movable platen 3. |
