PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wood splitting machine that performs wood-splitting in both outward and return paths by a wood-splitting blade reciprocating between a pair of reaction force plates in conjunction with a telescopic motion of a rod of a hydraulic cylinder device, and can push and divide long round timbers as fuel of energy business such as wood biomass power generation business by securing a buckling strength of a hydraulic cylinder for operating the wood-splitting blade.SOLUTION: A wood splitting machine is provided by: installing a pair of reaction force plates 6, 7 to a pedestal 2 forming an opening part 11 in a longitudinal direction while facing the longitudinal direction; setting up a wood-splitting blade 4 on an upper surface 3a of a hollow turret 3 with a base opened, and connecting the tip of a rod 10 of a hydraulic cylinder 8 in a hollow part of the turret 3; protruding the wood-splitting blade 4 from the opening part 11 of the pedestal 2 by slidably supporting the turret 3 to the pedestal 2 and saddling on a hydraulic cylinder 8; and reciprocating the wood-splitting blade 4 between the pair of reaction force plates 6, 7 in conjunction with a telescopic motion of the rod 10 of the hydraulic cylinder 8. |
