Provided is a method for rolling differential thickness steel sheets, the method being capable of improving the yield of differential thickness steel sheets. The excess length of the thin-walled section is calculated (Step (ST7)) on the basis of the observed cross-sectional area of the thick-walled section calculated at the time of a primary rolling (Step (ST1)). Next, the rolled length of the thin-walled section is calculated (Step (ST8) - Step (ST12)) so that the excess cross-sectional area is distributed between the thick-walled section and the thin-walled section in accordance with the excess length of the thin-walled section. Then, a secondary rolling is performed using the calculated rolled length (LX(Sx)) for the thin-walled section. |
