PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a range hood which includes an active-type sound-muffling unit having excellent sound-muffling effect on a ventilation passage with a large duct diameter and prevents deterioration of the sound-muffling effect of the active-type sound-muffling unit due to turbulence of air flow.SOLUTION: A range hood includes an active-type sound-muffling unit 13 having a plurality of small air passages 12 formed by sectioning a part of an air passage 7 from an opening 2 below a body 6 to a ventilation fan 8 by means of an outer casing 10 and a partition member 11, and a connection member 16 connecting the partition member 11 and a distribution plate 4 in a line extending downward along the partition member 11. |
