The device has a rotative day/night disk (9) located under an hours disk (7) comprising first and second transparent annular zones of different colors or shades. The zones of the day/night disk extend under ciphers of the hours disk. A driving mechanism comprises a unit for driving the hours disk in a continuous way and at constant speed at rate of two revolutions in twenty-four hours. A continuous driving unit drives the day/night disk at rate of one revolution in twenty-four hours. An aperture (6) is provided with dimension permitting to see three consecutive ciphers of the hours disk.
