The present invention relates to an information providing method and a system for clinical diagnosis, which enables cancer diagnosis of patients using clinical images. According to the present invention, an information providing method and a system for clinical diagnosis comprise: an image receiving unit which receives clinical images filmed in a first energy band and clinical images filmed in a second energy band; and an information providing unit for analysis and clinical diagnosis, which provides information for clinical diagnosis that is calculated by analyzing the clinical images filmed in a first energy band and the clinical images filmed in a second energy band. The information providing unit for analysis and clinical diagnosis provides information for clinical diagnosis, by calculating a value corresponding to the degree of radiation absorption for the clinical images filmed in a first energy band and the clinical images filmed in a second energy band, respectively, and comparing the values corresponding to the degree of radiation absorption in corresponding areas from each of the images.
