A door drive apparatus having a door (1) that opens and closes an exit/entrance, and an electric motor (5) for opening and closing the door (1), wherein the apparatus is provided with: a storage device (3) for storing in advance information pertaining to the mass of the car-side door and information pertaining to the mechanical door-closing force and to the mass of the entrance-side doors on each floor; an angular velocity command value generator (9) for generating an angular velocity command value on the basis of the information in a storage unit (3); a current command value generator (10) for generating a current command value based on the angular velocity command value and outputting the current command value as a PWM output (11); and a drive circuit (13) for driving the electric motor (5) on the basis of the PWM output (11). |
