The invention relates to a door drive that can be integrated into a door element and that does not add to the appearance, while a large design variety of the rotating door provided with the door drive is still possible. According to the invention a door-driving device (18) is provided for a rotating door (10), which rotating door comprises a stationary door element (12) and a movable door element (16) articulated to the stationary door element (12) in such a way that the movable door element can be pivoted about a lateral vertical axis (14). The door-driving device (18) is designed to be installed in one of the door elements in the region of a hinge-side narrow end face (44) of said door element in a concealed manner in order to drive the movable door element (16) in a pivoting manner about the vertical axis (14). The door-driving device (18) has a motor-driven pushing and pulling connecting element (60, 160) that can be extended and retracted from the narrow end face (44) of the door element.
