Provided is a liquid crystal display device. The liquid crystal display device comprises a substrate, a gate line, a data line and a thin film transistor. The data line includes a contact portion and a first line portion. At least one edge of the contact portion is connected to the outer line of the first line portion by one curved line or by a straight line extending in a diagonal direction with respect to a direction in which the gate line extends. In the liquid crystal display device according to one embodiment of the present invention, since an angle between the outer line of the first line portion of the data line and the outer line of the contact portion connected from the outer line of the first line portion becomes wider, irregular reflection of UV light possibly occurring in an edge between the contact portion and the first line portion of the data line can be reduced. Thus, light leakage caused by the irregular reflection of the UV light can be minimized and a contrast ratio of the liquid crystal display device can be increased. |
