Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for providing hypertension prevention service. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the apparatus for providing the hypertension prevention service includes a cap part, which introduces the predetermined amount of foods from a container, a sensor part coupled to the cap part for the mounting thereof to measure the amount of unit sodium contained in the introduced foods, and a processing part which generates an alarming signal if the amount of the unit sodium exceeds a first critical value which is selected. |
