PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and stable hydraulic turbine power generation unit having a structure with increased rotation efficiency of a hydraulic turbine and reliably removing trash.SOLUTION: In this hydraulic turbine power generation unit 1, a frame 4 including an inflow chamber 5 is installed in a water channel 2. Trash is removed from flowing water led to the inflow chamber 5 by a curved screen 10, and the flowing water impinges on an upper wall plate 8 and falls to a hydraulic turbine 6. The water current flows therein while impinging on an outer circumference of an impeller 6a of the hydraulic turbine 6, passes through the central part of the impeller 6a, and flows out while impinging again on the outer circumference of the impeller 6a to rotate the hydraulic turbine 6. The trash removed by the screen 10 passes through a space part at an upper part in the frame 4 and is discharged. Fine trash passing through the screen 10 passes through the central part of the impeller 6a together with the water current, and is discharged to the outside of the frame 4 by rocking motion of a lower wall plate 9 provided along the impeller 6a. Earth and sand or the like deposited at a lower part of the frame 4 is caused to flow by opening and closing operations of an earth and sand ejection valve 19 of an earth and sand elimination device. |
