<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrode active material for a lithium ion secondary battery which is superior in rapid charge and discharge, and which has high input/output characteristics and high energy density. <P>SOLUTION: This is the negative electrode active material for the lithium ion secondary battery obtained by calcining at 800°C or less and pulverizing a mixture of four kinds of graphite powders, low crystalline carbon powders, carbon black and binder, or a mixture of three kinds of the graphite powders, carbon black and the binder, and by calcining it again at 900 to 1,500°C, or by calcining at 900 to 1,500°C and crushing or pulverizing, or pulverizing the mixture. This is the negative electrode active material for the lithium ion secondary battery which is composed of a graphite part, a low crystalline carbon part, and a carbon black part, in which the ratio of the graphite part is 5 to 90 wt.%, and discharge characteristics and rapid discharge/charge characteristics are both improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
