PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grain-oriented electromagnetic steel that is subjected to magnetic domain subdivision treatment by laser irradiation, and can exhibit excellent noise reduction performance and low core loss characteristics when assembled into a real machine transformer.SOLUTION: A forsterite film formed on the surface of the grain-oriented electromagnetic steel includes 1-20 mass% Ti and 0.02-0.4 mass% B, and the range of mass ratio (Ti+B)/N to N in the films is 0.7-1.3. |
