PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scattered ray correction method, an image processing unit and a tomographic apparatus capable of removing scattered components with good accuracy while holding down a calculation amount.SOLUTION: A scattered ray correction method includes: a process of estimating a first intensity distribution of the first scattered ray X1 detected by a flat panel display 15 by calculation on supposing that a direct ray X0 which is a radiation ray not subjected to scattering is irradiated to a three-dimensional model W corresponding to a tomographic image, and also supposing that when a first scattered ray X1 is generated by the direct ray X0 first subjected to scattering in the three-dimensional model W, the first scattered ray X1 advances without being further subjected to scattering; and a process of removing a scattered component from a projection image from which the tomographic image is originated on the basis of the estimated first intensity distribution. |
