The present invention relates to a digital photo frame for a digital oil-painting and a display method thereof, wherein an image photographed by a camera is stored; the stored image is selectively processed to be converted into an oil painting image and stored; and the image is edited into a preferred shape in accordance with a peripheral environment and displayed. The digital photo frame comprises: a display unit; a camera to take a picture; a memory to store the image taken by the camera; and a micro controller to select the image stored in the memory to display the image on the display unit, wherein the micro controller selects the stored image in the memory and an operation content with respect to the image, and performs an oil-painting operation drawn by a pointillism technique using a non-photorealistic rendering (NPR) in accordance with the selected content. |
