The present invention provides a technique for reducing vibration and impact on a main cage frame and auxiliary cages of an interlayer space adjustment type double-layer elevator. The interlayer space adjustment type double-layer elevator (DD) is constructed in a manner that the main cage frame (8) is connected with a counterweight (17) and is suspended to be movable in a vertical direction, two auxiliary cages (101,102) in the main cage frame (8) are interconnected and are suspended to be movable in the vertical direction. The loads of random two members in the main cage frame (8) and two auxiliary cages (101,102) are measured. Specified calculation is performed on the two measured load values. Furthermore compensation is performed on the weight unbalance between the main cage frame (8) and the counterweight (17) and the weight unbalance between the auxiliary cages (101,102) according to the calculation result. |
