The present disclosure relates to an eco-friendly halogen-free thermoplastic resin composition having high flexibility and good flame retardancy and an electric wire covered therewith, and more particularly to, a halogen-free thermoplastic resin composition comprising: (A) 100 parts by weight of a basic resin comprising a polyester thermoplastic elastomer in an amount of 40-96 wt% and a styrene copolymer resin in an amount of 31-60 wt%; (B) 1-30 parts by weight of an epoxy compound; (C) 1-30 parts by weight of a phosphorous-based flame retardant; and (D) 1-20 parts by weight of a silicone compound, wherein the (D) silicone compound has a viscosity of 110,000 cst to 10,000,000 cst, and an electric wire covered therewith. According to the present disclosure, provided are the eco-friendly halogen-free thermoplastic resin composition having an excellent flame retardancy without sacrificing any of flexibility, elongation, and other physical properties, which are required for an electric wire covering material, and an electric wire covered therewith. |
