A security barrier section (3) is provided which comprises two barrier section posts (4); and at least one cable (5) extends between two said posts (4) and is attached thereto, for example with U-bolts (6), such that under impact of a vehicle the cable (4) can slip to a limited degree. The invention also provides a security barrier (2) comprising a plurality of security barrier (3) sections. Adjacent security barrier sections (3) share a common barrier section post (4). |
