Disclosed are a method for changing a tablespace property and an apparatus thereof. A database system is configured to lock a non-logging tablespace located in a memory, generate a storing place for the non-logging tablespace in a disk, record data of the non-logging tablespace in the generated storing place, change the tablespace property from a non-logging state to a logging state, and unlock the tablespace. According to the present invention, a loading time may be saved by skipping a loading process when a large amount of data is loaded to a tablespace. |
