The purpose of the present invention is to provide an insulator which increases the output density of fuel cells and is capable of preventing malfunction with regard to insulation. According to the present invention, the insulator is disposed between a current collecting plate and an end part member, wherein the current collecting plate is disposed closed to an end part in a lamination direction of a laminate having a plurality of laminated unit cells, whereas the end part member is disposed on an outer side in the lamination direction of the current collecting plate. In addition, the insulator includes a plurality of insulator members having a sheet-like flat part, and the insulator members are disposed on a spot facing the current collecting plate, while the flat parts are overlapping each other. |
