The present invention relates to an electronic component with a copy prevention tool and a copy prevention method for the electronic component and, more specifically, to an electronic component with a copy prevention tool which allows operation if predefined matching keys are connected placed between combined electronic components and a copy prevention method for the electronic component. The electronic component with the copy prevention tool includes: a first electronic component (11) and a second electronic component (12a) which are operated while being combined; a first connection key (113) and a second connection key (122) which are placed in the first electronic component (11) and the second electronic component (12a) and are electrically connected; and a detection unit (112) which detects the connection state between the first connection key (113) and the second connection key (122). The first connection key (113) and the second connection key (122) have a predefined random combination point. The detection unit (112) determines the operation state of the first electronic component (11) and the second electronic component (12a) depending on the matching state of the random combination point. |
