FIELD: machine building.SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to automotive industry. Active buffer for vehicle comprises the main and front walls. Main wall has first surface facing the front wall and front wall has the second surface facing the main wall. Main and front walls consist of molded plastic components and are connected in a closed circuit with formation of inflatable chamber between the first and second surfaces. One of walls has wide rib extending over its surface continuously along closed circuit. Other wall has several narrow ribs concentrically protruding above its surface continuously along closed circuit. Narrow ribs are welded to a wide rib. Method of producing of active buffer includes the following steps: injection molding of the main wall; injection molding of the front wall; hot welding of narrow ribs with wide rib.EFFECT: higher safety.21 cl, 14 dwg
