The present invention relates to a watch type mobile terminal which can be worn on the wrist. The watch type mobile terminal according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a sensor unit for detecting gestures of a user wearing the watch type mobile terminal on his wrist; a wireless communication unit for transmitting, to an external terminal, communication information on a first terminal connected to the watch type mobile terminal through a wireless communication network and receiving, from the external terminal, communication information on a second terminal connected to the external terminal through the wireless communication network when the watch type mobile terminal and the external terminal are connected through the wireless communication network; and a control unit for controlling data to be transmitted and received between the first terminal and the second terminal based on the detection of the preset gesture of the user in a state in which the first terminal and the second terminal are connected through the wireless communication network, as the communication information on the first terminal and the communication information on the second terminal are transmitted and received. |
