The cold storage member has a first layer cold storage member (30) and a second layer cold storage member (60) which are used for a GM refrigerator (1) and having a lamination structure. Multiple holes through which gas passes are formed in a lamination direction on each layer of the cold storage member. At least a layer includes: a base material; and a coating layer covering the base material. Volumetric specific heat of the coating layer is greater than the volumetric specific heat of the base material in a temperature range of 20-40 Kelvin.
