A metal wire and a display device including the same are provided. The metal wire comprises: a copper layer; and a barrier layer arranged in at least one of an upper portion and a lower portion of the copper layer. The barrier layer is an alloy including copper, nickel, and zinc. Therefore, the metal wire prevents material dispersion between a substrate or an insulation layer and the copper layer.
