An objective of the present invention is to provide an antenna device of a portable terminal, which can easily change a resonant frequency and impedance of an antenna made of segmented metal rims, and a portable terminal having the antenna device. According to the present invention, provided is the antenna device of a portable terminal comprising: a metal rim which is mounted on a case frame of the portable terminal and is segmented into a first part and a second part; a circuit board which is arranged in the case frame, wherein a current feeding unit for supplying a current and a ground plane are formed on the circuit board; and a ground matching unit. The first part of the metal rim is connected with the current feeding unit and one side of the current feeding unit is grounded by the ground plane. The second part is grounded by the ground plane, and both ends of the ground matching unit are connected to the ground plane.
