The present invention relates to a technology forming a device structure to improve outcoupling efficiency when light from an emissive layer of an organic light-emitting device (OLED) is extracted to the outside of the OLED. The present invention provides a process of manufacturing an OLED which includes, on a transparent substrate, flat double thin-film layers having high and low-refractive index thin-film layers, wherein the high-refractive index thin-film layer having a refractive index higher than that of the transparent substrate is formed flat, and then the low-refractive index thin-film layer is formed thereon. The device structure further including the flat double thin-film layers having the high and low-refractive index thin-film layers improves the outcoupling efficiency of the OLED. |
