The present invention relates to a smart outboard engine capable of automatically controlling output of an engine mounted on an outboard engine by corresponding to a pitch angle (Ø) of the outboard engine. The smart outboard engine includes: the outboard engine (120) mounted on a vessel (100) and providing propulsion to the vessel (100) by supplying power; an inertia sensing unit (130) sensing the pitch angle (Ø) of the outboard engine (120) by being mounted on the outboard engine (120); and an engine output control unit (140) controlling the output of an engine (121) mounted on the outboard engine (120) by corresponding to the pitch angle (Ø) of the outboard engine, which is sensed by the inertia sensing unit (130). The smart outboard engine can reduce unnecessary energy consumption by properly controlling the output of the engine by corresponding to the pitch angle (Ø) of the outboard engine. |
